Michael Barber, Carter Tos, and Emily Deaton honored with IADA professional development grants, and board leadership roles.
Melbourne, FL – October 13, 2025 – jetAVIVA proudly announces that two of its rising leaders, Michael Barber, Sr. Managing Director & Vice President of Sales Operations, and Carter Tos, Sales Operations Specialist, have been awarded International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) Foundation grants. The awards were presented during the association’s Fall Member Meeting on Monday, October 13.
The IADA Foundation grants are designed to support young professionals already active in the business aircraft resale and transaction industry, enabling them to further their education, leadership development, and professional growth.
Michael Barber received a grant that will fund his participation at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he will complete a leadership course to further develop his standout early career in business aviation. In addition to the grant, Barber has also been appointed as Vice Chair of IADA’s NextGen Committee for 2026.
“I am honored to accept this role,” said Barber. “It represents an exciting opportunity to continue shaping the next generation of business aviation professionals, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation across our industry. I look forward to working alongside an incredible team of peers to strengthen the pipeline of future leaders in business aviation.”
Carter Tos has been awarded a grant that will support his attendance at the NBAA Leadership Conference in early 2026, a premier professional development event in the business aviation sector.
jetAVIVA’s commitment to IADA leadership extends beyond individual awards. The company also celebrates the promotion of CEO Emily Deaton to Board Chair of IADA’s AircraftExchange, following two years of service as Board Secretary under the leadership of outgoing Chairman, Shawn Dinning (Dallas Jet International).
“I look forward to continuing to develop a platform that not only upholds IADA’s Accreditation standards and serves as a global billboard for our association, but also one that facilitates collaboration, data exchange, and deal-making for our accredited members,” said Deaton.
As a long-standing IADA-accredited dealer with a team of certified brokers, jetAVIVA is proud to be recognized as a trusted leader in the global business aviation marketplace. The company remains committed to supporting IADA’s mission of raising professional standards, advancing ethical business practices, and shaping the next generation of industry leaders.
