The company is proud to welcome industry veteran Michael Barber to its ranks. Barber will specialize in the highly sought-after super-midsize category aircraft, further supporting jetAVIVA’s previously announced expansion into larger cabin category aircraft and building upon its two decades of experience as a market leader in the light jet space.
Barber’s appointment coincides with the promotion of long-tenured sales professional Ben Dow to vice president of sales, where he will lead the company’s global sales team while continuing to serve as a market expert in the Falcon product line and a key contributor to the firm’s large cabin segment.
“This announcement represents another exciting chapter in jetAVIVA’s journey. We are deeply committed to building the best sales team in the industry—one that pairs deep product knowledge with a relentless drive for excellence. These two leaders exemplify our values and our strategic path forward,” said Emily Deaton, CEO of jetAVIVA.
As managing director and vice president of sales operations, Barber will support sales efforts in the super-midsize category, specializing in market-leading platforms such as the Challenger 350 and Gulfstream G280. In addition to driving category growth, he will lead jetAVIVA’s Sales Operations and Market Research team, guiding their research and business development initiatives and advancing the firm’s next generation of sales leadership.
Barber brings a robust resume of international success, having closed transactions across six continents. Prior to joining jetAVIVA, he served as regional vice president of sales and acquisitions for an IADA Accredited Dealer and ARG/US Platinum-rated firm, where he was consistently a top producer and key driver of growth.
“Joining jetAVIVA is both an honor and an incredible opportunity to contribute to the growth of a world-class team,” Barber said. “I’m especially proud to support the next generation of aviation sales professionals, and look forward to furthering our industry through my work with IADA’s NextGen committee.”
In his new role, Dow will assume leadership of jetAVIVA’s sales team worldwide while maintaining his focus as a subject matter expert in the Dassault Falcon and large cabin aircraft markets. With more than 15 years of aircraft sales experience and over 100 successful transactions, Dow brings a wealth of expertise, client insight and leadership to his new position.
“I’m excited to lead the most experienced, client-focused sales team in the business,” Dow said. “As jetAVIVA continues to scale, our commitment to excellence, teamwork and market leadership will remain our guiding principles.”
