Kathy Oberbroeckling Named Interim CEO of jetAVIVA While Continuing as Chief Financial Officer

Few people know jetAVIVA as thoroughly—or have helped shape its success as meaningfully—as Kathy Oberbroeckling.

Following Emily Deaton’s appointment to the National Business Aviation Association, Kathy will serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer while continuing in her role as Chief Financial Officer.

Kathy joined the organization in 2016 through jetAVIVA’s acquisition of Kansas Aircraft Corporation and has been an integral member of the executive leadership team ever since. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2020, helping guide the company through periods of remarkable growth while strengthening its financial discipline, operational excellence and people-first culture.

Before joining jetAVIVA, Kathy spent nearly a decade in public accounting before serving in financial leadership positions across multiple industries. She later built a successful consulting practice, helping organizations improve financial systems and operational processes before returning to executive leadership.

Beyond jetAVIVA, she currently serves as Chair of the IADA Foundation, where she helps steward the organization’s philanthropic mission and supports scholarships for the next generation of business aviation professionals.
