jetAVIVA Announces Leadership Succession Plan

October 16, 2018 – Orlando, FL – jetAVIVA, the largest seller of pre-flown turbine aircraft in the world, announced today that the company’s CEO, Cyrus Sigari, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, and will be succeeded by the firm’s current President, Tim White as CEO. Dustin Cordier will succeed White as the firm’s President. This transition will be effective January 1st, 2019.

Sigari, who co-founded jetAVIVA in 2006, has led the company to become the largest pre-flown jet and turboprop aircraft sales organization in the world as measured by unit sales. In 2017, the firm transacted more than 120 turbine aircraft valued at more than $400M. In his new role, Sigari will continue to focus on major strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, while White and Cordier will oversee day-to-day operations.

“I’m excited to transition leadership of jetAVIVA to Tim and Dustin. Both have great depth of knowledge about the worldwide business aviation industry, and both have individually led several of jetAVIVA’s most impactful strategic initiatives,” said Sigari.

Tim White will step into the CEO role after having served as the firm’s President for the previous two years. Prior to joining jetAVIVA, White served as the CEO of Kansas Aircraft Corporation which was acquired by jetAVIVA in 2016. Prior to that, White served in senior executive sales leadership positions with Textron Aviation and Bombardier Aircraft. White is a graduate of the University of Missouri and has more than 3,000 incident-free hours of flight experience.

“It is an honor to take on the role of jetAVIVA CEO. My primary focus is to maintain our leadership position in the industry while continuing to make the firm a trusted home for our clients and teammates,” said White. “jetAVIVA has become the industry leader because it is much more than an aircraft brokerage firm, and I look forward to continuing our growth trajectory through the execution of initiatives that bring added value to our Clients far beyond aircraft transactions alone.”

Succeeding White, Dustin Cordier steps into the President role after having served as the firm’s Managing Partner since 2015. Prior to that, Cordier served in senior executive sales leadership positions at Embraer Executive Jets and Textron Aviation. Cordier is a distinguished graduate from the United States Air Force Academy and served in the U.S. Air Force as a command and instructor pilot for 10 years prior to transitioning to a career in business aviation.

“This transition plays to our firm’s strengths and is a validation of our long term strategic plans,” said Cordier. “The next decade of business aviation holds incredible potential and we look forward to serving our clients and the industry as a value-added partner providing the best possible customer experience all the while attracting industry-leading talent.”
