Conrad’s grass-roots background began in a local community airfield in south Kansas City where he learned to fly in 1977. His experience includes the organizing and managing of an FBO line service, and running a full paint and aircraft detail shop. In the mid-1980’s, he began a successful career in aircraft acquisitions with Kansas City Aviation Center. He joined the Kansas Aircraft team in 1991 and has been successfully buying and selling a variety of aircraft ever since.
Having accumulated more than 6,000 hours of incident-free flight time in a wide range of piston and turboprop, Conrad contributes both experience and knowledge to Kansas Aircraft. The father of two daughters, he enjoys cooking great food, and listening to live blues music.
