The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) recently announced the 2022 Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40, which recognizes rising leaders who are driving innovation within the industry.

Among this year’s recipients is jetAVIVA CEO, Emily Deaton. She is recognized alongside other standouts in the industry selected by the NBAA’s Young Professionals Council.

“It is a pleasure to celebrate Emily as a member of the fifth class of 40 Under 40 recipients,” says Cyrus Sigari, jetAVIVA Executive Chairman and Co-founder. “Emily’s leadership has been an integral part to the success of jetAVIVA; she is well-deserving of this recognition.”

Deaton joined jetAVIVA in early 2019 as Vice President of Sales. She was appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer in March 2020, and helped to lead jetAVIVA to two record-breaking sales years in 2020 and 2021 before being appointed as CEO in January of this year. Prior to joining jetAVIVA, Deaton held leadership positions in CRM Strategy and Customer Experience at Embraer Executive Jets.

“I am thrilled to work in an industry that celebrates its young professionals and is passionate about the future of business aviation,” says Deaton. “Thank you to NBAA for the honor, and congratulations to all of this year’s recipients.”
