PC-12/45 – The /45 market finished 2016 on a high with its strongest quarter of the year in Q4. With a total of 16 sales, transaction volume increased by more than 50% over Q3. This flurry of sales activity also allowed inventory to continue its shrinking trend. Inventory fell to 22 available aircraft by the close of Q4. This equates to a very healthy 3.9% of the fleet, the lowest inventory level we have seen in the /45 market since the Summer of 2015. Values finished the year flat with minimal change from Q3.
PC-12/47 – With only two sales in Q4, /47 transaction volume was light, but still an improvement over Q3. Inventory finished Q4 at 5% availability, higher than the other two PC-12 markets but still very seller friendly overall. Inventory has bounced around between 4% and 6% availability since early Spring 2016, and values continue to hold steady thanks to strong demand for the /47’s “NG” style wing, 4700kg MTOW, and customizable avionics panel.
PC-12/47E “NG” – While the NG market started 2016 with higher-than-normal inventory levels, it enjoyed a strong close to the year. Pre-owned transactions spiked from three sales in Q3 to 15 sales in Q4. The factory also remained extremely busy delivering thirty (30) new aircraft in Q4. Inventory levels in the NG market finished the year at a very healthy 3.5% availability. With strong demand and limited supply, look for NG values to continue performing very well 2017.
