PC-12/45 – The /45 market started 2017 strong, carrying much of the positive momentum we saw in Q4 over into Q1. We saw 14 total sales in Q1, the second best quarter we’ve seen in recent years. Inventory currently sits at an 18 month low with 3.7% fleet availability. This combination of strong demand and shrinking inventory continues to keep pricing stable.
PC-12/47 – The /47 market also had a fantastic start to 2017 in Q1. After seeing a slight uptick from Q3 to Q4 last year, /47 transactions doubled to start 2017, as Q1 sales activity matched its best quarter since the beginning of 2015. This increase in transaction volume resulted in a significant decline in inventory as fleet availability fell from 5% in Q4 to 3.5% in Q1. Values in the /47 market have remained “steady eddy” since 2014 as the /47’s combination of “NG” style wing, 4700kg MTOW, customizable avionics panel, and attractive price point continue to elicit strong demand from buyers.
PC-12/47E “NG” – While the NG market experienced a slight deviation from the norm in Q1 as inventory grew and sales activity slowed, the market remains very healthy overall with limited supply and strong buyer demand. On the factory side Pilatus delivered 13 new NGs in Q1, increasing the total NG fleet to a whopping 668 units. NG values were once again stable in Q1, a trend that should continue provided inventory holds in the 3% – 4% range. Buyers can expect to pay Mid-High to High $3Ms for an outstanding, 2013 - 2015, low time aircraft. As jetAVIVA continues to hear from NG buyers searching for aircraft, now is the perfect time to act if you are considering making a move.
