jetAVIVA has Record-Setting Growth in 2017 as an Industry Leader

Kansas City, MO – jetAVIVA, a leading broker/dealer of jet and turboprop aircraft, has announced record results from 2017 with 119 aircraft delivered over the calendar year, totaling over $400M USD in aggregate sales. The year’s performance resulted in 63% growth in transaction volume from 2016. The company’s performance has elevated the firm to the #1 ranking in total jet and turboprop units transacted per the STAR Report published in January 2018 by independent research firm JETNET.

In addition to achieving the #1 ranking as a broker/dealer for all jet and turboprop aircraft, jetAVIVA also captured the top spots in individual model markets: #1 in pre-owned Citation jet sales with 49 Citations transacted; #1 in pre-owned Embraer Executive Jet sales with 15 units sold; #1 in pre-owned Piper PA46 with 16 units transacted; and #1 in King Air 250s with 10 total King Airs sold across the entire product line. jetAVIVA has been a leader in the light jet market for several years, and in 2017, the company expanded into the large-cabin market with multiple large-cabin transactions including an Embraer Lineage 1000; an Embraer Legacy 600; and eight Gulfstream jets including a GV, a G550, and four GIVs.

The company’s year-end successes follow the firm’s recent acquisitions of Georgetown, TX based aircraft broker/dealer Jet Quest in August of 2017 and Kansas Aircraft Corporation in May of 2016.

“There’s no greater joy than working with our incredible team to help make our client’s aviation dreams come true,” says jetAVIVA CEO, Cyrus Sigari. “We are cautiously optimistic and excited about the market as we move into 2018.”

The firm has also noted a significant increase in buying activity due to recent U.S. tax law changes making pre-owned aircraft used in a business capacity eligible for 100% depreciation in the first year of ownership. The firm is advising all clients who have been on the sidelines waiting for a “good deal” to be cautious of rapidly decreasing inventories of young, pre-owned turbine aircraft. As an example, in October 2017, there were 30 pre-owned Citation CJ3s for sale; today there are six.
